Lionfish Designs LLC is owned and operated by Hunter Trevelyan Wyndham in Honolulu, Hawai’i.  He is a graphic artist, photographer, tattoo artist, fine artist and illustrator.  He studied at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, CA, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Scientific & Industrial Commercial Photography from Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara, CA.  His inspiration comes from a wide range of sources such as Irezumi (Japanese tattooing), Kākau (Hawaiian tattooing), Robert Mapplethorpe (among many other photographers), traveling, ancient/indigenous cultures, classical painting, traditional fine art techniques and modern creative technology… but most importantly from nature.  Programs like Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter have allowed Hunter to take traditional mediums like photography and hand drawn imagers in a new direction with tasteful digital treatments.  His work has been published on Advocate.com, Itunes.com, on limited edition apparel, displayed as fine art and is worn proudly as body art by people around the world.  Lionfish Designs actively promotes social and ecological awareness through conscious business practices, donations and affiliations with Sol Shred Skim LLC’s national beach clean ups, Women Helping Women (which provides emergency shelter & programs for victims of domestic violence) and Nita Lina LLC.  Lionfish Designs works with clients locally in Hawai’i, as well as nationally and internationally.
